Our state-approved CE courses make it easy to meet Georgia’s license renewal requirement of 36 hours every four years, including the mandatory License Law course. And for REALTORS®, we’ve got you covered with the Code of Ethics and Fair Housing courses required every three years to maintain your REALTOR® membership. Salesperson & CAM License Requirements
If you hold an active salesperson real estate license with a license number above 100,000, the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) requires you to complete 36 hours of approved continuing education (CE) every four years. This includes:

3 hours on the topic of License Law (required for all licensees, included in the 36 hours total)
Broker License Requirements
If you hold an active broker-type real estate license with a license number above 100,000, the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) requires you to complete 36 hours of approved continuing education (CE) every four years. This includes:

3 hours on the topic of License Law (required for all licensees)

18 hours of Broker-specific CE (required for Brokers, included in the 36 hours total)
New Licensee Requirement (1st Year of Licensure)
New licensees are required to complete a 25-hour Salesperson Postlicense course within their first year of licensure.
- The course must be approved by GREC
- Failure to complete the course within one year will result in a lapsed license
REALTOR® Membership Training Requirements
In addition to state licensing requirements, all licensees who are members of the National Association of REALTORS® must complete REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Fair Housing / Anti-Bias training upon joining — and once every three years thereafter.
- The current training cycle runs from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027. These requirements must be fulfilled at any time within the designated cycle.
