This program explores in detail the individual parts and pieces of a building that you may choose to highlight in written descriptions, images and discussion to draw attention to the character and quality of a home. You will learn how to properly identify elements; avoid common incorrect descriptions; spot inappropriate elements; and, explain why these elements are out of place. It's all in preparation for your client's question, "What that called?" FREE to ARA Members! $25 deposit, refunded if registration cancelled 48 hours in advance of class or with attendance.

Ryan Taylor

Ryan Taylor is a registered architect. He founded Ryan Taylor Architects, LLC in 2002 to focus on residential projects. In the course of his work, he’s earned certifications in energy rating/performance verification, HVAC design, site design, disaster response and distance learning. Ryan is active in community, legislative and building code issues. He teaches frequently through the real estate school established by Ryan Taylor Architects, LLC. Ryan has been speaking/teaching since 2008 and is frequently invited to speak at community and industry events. His comments have been widely published.
