ARA/FMLS Showcase 2024: Demonstrating Your Value in a New Era

The ARA/FMLS Showcase 2024, held on August 15, 2024, at the Coca-Cola Roxy, was an overwhelming success, bringing together nearly 700 real estate professionals for a day filled with inspiration, networking, and valuable insights. The event, themed "Demonstrating Your Value in a New Era," provided attendees with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s dynamic real estate market. The event was both enjoyable and enriching, offering participants the chance to connect with a diverse array of sponsors and vendors who provided valuable information at their tables. These interactions were not only informative but also instrumental in helping attendees stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry.

Event Highlights:

  • Outstanding Speakers: The lineup of speakers was truly exceptional. Selma Hepp, Chief Economist at CoreLogic, shared critical economic insights that are shaping the real estate industry. Kevin Williams, bestselling author of Irrational Kindness, captivated the audience with his motivational approach to both personal and professional development. In addition, panel speakers included David Boehmig, Jeremy Crawford, Katharine Oates, and Kelly Guin Thrash. The speakers’ presentations were well-received, offering attendees practical knowledge and inspiration to apply in their careers.
  • Valuable Networking: The event provided ample opportunities for networking, with sponsors and vendors offering a wealth of information and resources at their tables. Attendees appreciated the chance to engage directly with industry leaders and peers.

Community Impact:
In addition to the professional benefits, the event also made a significant impact on the local community. As a result of the Showcase attendance, FMLS and ARA will be donating approximately $12,000 to the Atlanta Beltline, contributing to the continued growth and improvement of one of Atlanta’s most important urban projects. Moreover, through our ticket sales, we helped raise $3,000 for the 50/50 Raffle, with nearly $1,400 going directly to the Atlanta REALTORS® Impact Foundation. These funds will support educational scholarships and charitable giving within the real estate community.

Looking Ahead:
As the event concluded, there was a palpable sense of excitement for what’s to come. The ARA/FMLS teams expressed their gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, and vendors for making the 2024 Showcase such a success. The enthusiasm and participation of nearly 700 professionals underscore the importance of these events in fostering community and professional growth.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again at the next ARA/FMLS Showcase in 2025! Stay tuned for more details as we continue to build on this year’s success. !
