REALTORS® Champion Legislative Changes

The 2024 Georgia General Assembly has ended after three months of fast-paced lawmaking. The GAR State and Local Governmental Affairs Committee and GAR’s lobbying team tracked more legislation this year than ever before.
GAR celebrates several significant legislative successes, which include critical changes to the state statutes that govern squatters and limitations on local government’s use of regulatory fees. GAR members participated in two “Calls for Action” on legislation that passed the Assembly this year. Check out GAR’s Legislative Update for a comprehensive review of the 2024 Legislative Session.
