About Event

In this safety class, students learn about an Active Shooter/Killer incident and recognize the potential indicators of an incident before it occurs. Students will also be able to describe each of the tenets of the acronym: Go, Barricade, Fight and be able to differentiate between concepts of cover and concealment. Next, students will learn how to formulate a plan for themselves on what they would do in an Active Shooter/Killer incident. Finally, students will be able to design and sketch a plan on how to better protect themselves in their office space if an Active Shooter/Killer incident were to occur.
