NAR, Cycle 8, Code of Ethics for New Members

REALTORS are required to complete Code of Ethics training within 180 days of their membership start date.

The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS, such as:

introduction to key tenets of the Code of Ethics
Appreciation for the role the Code can and should play in professional lives
Enhances professionalism and competency
Encourages REALTORS to view their Code of Ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers, and the public
