Join us for a volunteer day with Open Hand Atlanta on September 30, 2026, as we work together to pack meals and support our community!
Open Hand Atlanta is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals and nutrition education to individuals who need support in our community. By helping prepare and pack meals, volunteers play an important role in making sure people have access to healthy food and the support they need to live healthier, more independent lives.
We’re excited to spend the afternoon giving back and making a difference together!
Location: 1380 W Marietta Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Volunteer Capacity: Limited to 20 volunteers
Schedule
- 1:00 PM – Volunteer Arrival
- 1:15 PM – Orientation
- 1:30–4:00 PM – Meal Packing
Dress Code & Requirements
Please review the following requirements before registering:
- Closed-toed sneakers are required. Slip-resistant shoes are recommended.
- No sandals, flip-flops, or Crocs.
- No jewelry is permitted, including wedding rings, watches, fitness trackers, etc. Open Hand will provide coverings for permanent jewelry.
- No shorts, miniskirts, tank tops, or crop tops.
- No headphones, earbuds, or Bluetooth earpieces.
