The meeting agenda with links to all information will be sent for your review as we approach the date of our meeting. The committee chairs would like to have everyone meet to discuss some end of the year items, future volunteer efforts and discuss the calendar for 2020.
Also, as 2020 approaches, Devereux GA, one of the beneficiaries of the Spring Fling will be rolling off at the end of 2019 as they approach their three-year mark. Wellspring Living just finished their second year of the three-year cycle; therefore, will remain as a beneficiary for one more year. Since so many of you are so involved with many different organizations outside the ACBR, we would like to receive your feedback on which charity you like the Community Service Task Force to consider as the Spring Fling beneficiary for the next three years from 2020-2022.
Between now and our meeting next week if you can please provide us with your recommendations for a charity to consider it will be greatly appreciated. Some things to consider when the task force is making their final selection are the following:
1. Is the organization or charity a local chapter or do not receive a lot of corporate support
2. Do they have volunteer opportunities to engage in with the community they serve
3. The organization is non-denominational
