The Atlanta REALTORS® has 3 different memberships: REALTOR® (person holding an active real estate or appraisal license), REALTOR Emeritus® (40+ years of REALTOR® membership and completed one year of NAR service), and Affiliate (non-licensed individual). To become a member, you will need to complete an application and pay the appropriate membership fees. Additionally, REALTORS® must complete (3) new member training requirements within 6 months. For more information, click here.
Please note: All applications will be processed in the order in which they are received. Upon completion of your application and provisional membership, you will receive a welcome email that contains your account login, membership ID number, instructions on retrieving your receipt, and an explanation of new member training requirements (if applicable). REALTOR® type members will use their active Membership ID number provided in the welcome email to access member benefits along with GAR forms.

In order to join the Association, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. ARA's fiscal cycle runs October 1 - September 30, while GAR's and NAR's fiscal cycles are based on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
If you are a REALTOR® type applicant and you're applying for primary membership with the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, you have the ability to participate in a new member payment plan. Your 1st installment will include the $70 application fee + ⅓ of the pro-rated dues amount. Each subsequent installment will be ½ of the remaining balance and will be charged (30) days from your 1st installment date. REALTOR® MEMBER
A REALTOR® is defined as an individual who holds an active real estate or appraiser's license.
REALTORS® also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
New REALTOR® members will also pay a $70 application fee, which is included in the annual fee listed below.

An Affiliate is an individual who does not hold an active real estate license, but has interests in the real estate profession.
Affiliates also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR).
