Statewide and Federal Elections

Georgia voters headed to the polls on November 3 for the 2026 General Election, making important decisions about the future of our state, our communities, and the real estate industry.

Last night, Democrat Jon Ossoff won re-election to the U.S. Senate, defeating Republican Mike Collins. In the governor’s race, Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms defeated Republican Rick Jackson. Her victory makes her Georgia’s first African American governor and the state’s first Democratic governor since Roy Barnes left office in 2003.

In addition, Georgia Democrats captured every statewide race on yesterday’s ballot and now hold a majority in the state House of Representatives.

These victories will likely shape Georgia's approach to housing affordability, property taxes, economic development, business regulation, infrastructure, and community investment. Use this link to check for more statewide election results.
