Stacy Patton is the Real Estate and Asset Management Director at Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., the organization
planning and executing the implementation of the Atlanta Beltline. The Atlanta BeltLine is an urban
redevelopment project that, when complete, will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails, transit,
public art and affordable housing along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor encircling downtown Atlanta. Stacy
oversees all real estate related activities for the Atlanta Beltline’s 6,000+ acre project footprint included Corridor
acquisition with the recently passed 60 million TSLOST funds. The Atlanta BeltLine will have a tremendous
economic impact on the Atlanta region and will set a national standard for transformative investment,
sustainable growth, and equitable development.
Prior to joining ABI, Stacy was Managing Director, Development with Minerva USA where she was responsible
for land acquisition, planning, design, entitlement and project management for ventures ranging from 10 to 2,000 residential units in both suburban and urban infill markets. Stacy maintained fiscal stewardship of multi-
million dollar annual budgets and was the lead project negotiator with land owners, federal, state and local
authorities, as well as community/neighborhood associations and adjacent land owners within each community.
Additionally, it was her role to initiate and negotiate permits including 404, Nationwide, Brownfield, Zoning and
Preliminary Plat to Land Disturbance/Building Permits. Stacy also developed and oversaw special projects
including charter schools, asset management for timber holding and master planned communities, economic
feasibility studies and niche development projects.
Prior to Minerva Properties, Stacy was an early founder of Chattahoochee Hill Country Conservancy (CHCC) and
served as President. Other duties included fundraising, land acquisition, research, and drafting/financially
supporting the transfer of development rights.
Stacy has a Master of Environmental Design in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Real Estate from
University of Georgia. Stacy serves as the Vice Chairman of Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership,
Board Member of the Georgia Land Conservation Council, and is an active councilmember for Urban Land
Institute’s Urban Revitalization Council and Atlanta’s Creative Council.
