REALTOR® Kirk Rich has officially entered the race for the Atlanta City Council. Kirk is making a run to replace District 6 Councilman Alex Wan, who is running for the Atlanta City Council President’s seat.

Kirk is a current Director of Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®, as well as an Invest Atlanta Board member and a member of the Woodruff Arts Center’s Real Estate Committee. He is a past President of the Georgia Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Member organization (CCIM) and past President of the Georgia Chapter of The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR). Kirk, the founding Principal of Rich Real Estate Services, recently sold the company to Avison Young where he now serves as Principal for their Agency Leasing Group.
Both the Atlanta REALTORS Association and the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® have chosen to endorse Kirk's candidacy for City Council. Additionally, the Atlanta REALTOR® Political Action Committee has committed to supporting his campaign as well with a maximum contribution.
Atlanta’s 6th District covers areas around Morningside-Lenox Park, Ansley Park, Druid Hills, Virginia-Highland, Piedmont Heights, portions of Midtown and segments of Cheshire Bridge Road, Monroe Drive and Piedmont Avenue.
